We have designed your independent vacation to provide flexibility in your travel plans while ensuring you don’t bypass region highlights. Based on your request to us, we pre-reserve your accommodation, arrange for your Hertz rental car and/or VIA Rail tickets as well as pre-book your favorite activities. Many of the packages are available year-round and all may be offered with airfare. In addition to customizing existing packages, your Canada à la Carte representative is also happy to assist in creating your own special Canadian adventure.
All clients booking a Canada à la Carte Independent Vacation will receive an attractive documentation package (one per booking) complete with a personalized itinerary that contains driving instructions, maps, brochures and guides to the region (all items “if applicable”). City Vacation packages include a smaller documentation package for your convenience. When traveling with children (ages 2 – 11) on driving or rail vacations, each child will receive an attractive travel bag filled with activities (conditions apply). Items that may be included within the backpack are coloring books and crayons, sticker books, puzzles, games and other entertaining activities.
