ITINERARY:

Day One ~ Arrival in Vancouver

Upon arrival at the Vancouver International Airport, transfer independently, by scheduled airporter service, limousine or taxi to downtown Vancouver. Overnight in Vancouver

Day Two and Day Three ~ VIA Rail's 'Canadian' from Vancouver to Jasper

The day is free to explore Vancouver. This evening board VIA Rail’s “Canadian” for your journey to Jasper (taxi transfer to rail station included). This experience with its award-winning service is luxury on rails. Points of interest will include Hell’s Gate (gorge), Suicide Rapids in the North Thompson Canyon, and the Cisco Tunnels above the Fraser River. Please note that dinner is not included onboard the train this evening. The next day, you will travel between the Monashee and Cariboo mountain ranges before ending your train journey in the resort town of Jasper. Breakfast and lunch is included onboard the train today. Upon arrival at the Jasper train station, a taxi will transfer you to your hotel (transfer included). Overnight in Jasper.

Day Four ~ Arriving in Jasper

Jasper, fascinating in beauty and history, is set amid some of the most rugged peaks in the Rockies. Today's 4-hour excursion encompasses the area's outstanding features including the mystical Medicine Lake, and Maligne Canyon, with its narrow gorge and limestone walls falling 50 metres to the floor below.

Day Five to Day Seven ~ VIA Rail's 'Canadian' from Jasper to Toronto

Tour the town this morning and then, transfer to the Jasper train station (transfer included) to board VIA Rail’s “Canadian”. This afternoon, depart the peaceful mountain town of Jasper on your westbound odyssey across the great Canadian plains and beyond. Your destination is Toronto, the economic center of Canada. Lunch and dinner are included this evening onboard the train. For the next two days, continue traveling across the Great Central Plains of Canada, through Winnipeg to the rugged forest and lake country to northern Ontario. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included onboard the train each day. Overnight on VIA Rail

Day Eight ~ Arriving in Toronto

Another leisurely morning onboard the “Canadian”. Breakfast is once again included onboard today, when you arrive at Toronto’s Union Station and transfer to your hotel (transfer not included). Overnight in Toronto

Day Nine ~ Depart Toronto

A morning check-out from your hotel will conclude you Across Canada Adventure.
