ITINERARY:
Day One ~ Calgary to Banff
Upon arrival in Calgary, transfer by scheduled motorcoach from the Calgary International Airport to your Banff hotel, approximately 2 hours away. Overnight in Banff.
Day Two ~ Exploring Banff
A morning sightseeing tour takes you to see the most popular areas of the Banff townsite, including the Hoodoos, Bow Falls, Surprise Corner and Sulphur Mountain, which includes a gondola ride to the summit. In the afternoon, take a trip to world-renowned Lake Louise to see the emerald green waters up close. Overnight in Banff.
Day Three ~ Free Day in Banff
Today is all yours to see Banff National Park on your own time. You may choose to take an optional day tour, visit museums, rent a canoe or bike the local trails or explore the downtown area. Overnight in Banff.
Day Four ~ Train to Kamloops
A morning departure onboard the Rocky Mountaineer takes on a 2 day trip over the Rogers Pass and into Vancouver on one of the most scenic daylight only train trips in the world. Today's highlights include travelling through the Spiral Tunnels and over Roger's Pass. Breakfast and lunch are included at your seat on both days. Overnight in Kamloops.
Day Five ~ Train to Vancouver
Your second full day on the train, travels through the Fraser Canyon past Hell's Gate and brings you into Vancouver in the evening. Overnight in Vancouver.
Day Six ~ Depart Vancouver
A taxi transfer today takes you from your downtown hotel to the Vancouver International Airport to conclude your vacation.
