ITINERARY:

Day One ~ Arriving in Vancouver

Upon arrival in the west coast city of Vancouver transfer via taxi to your hotel. Admission today is included to the Vancouver Lookout Tower for a beautiful view of the cityscapes and ocean.

Day Two ~ Rocky Mountaineer from Vancouver to Kamloops

All aboard Rocky Mountaineer's RedlLeaf service on the spectacular Yellowhead Route! This daylight only train tour includes breakfast and lunch served at your seat, full commentary and attentive onboard service throughout the day. Overnight in Kamloops.

Day Three ~ Rocky Mountaineer from Kamloops to Jasper

Another full day is spent onboard the Rocky Mountaineer in RedLeaf service. The tour today takes you into the Rocky Mountains and past Mount Robson, a highlight of the trip. Breakfast and lunch are again served at your seat. Arrival into the quaint railway town of Jasper is in the evening. Overnight in Jasper.

Day Four ~ Exploring Jasper

Jasper, fascinating in beauty and history, is set amid some of the most rugged peaks in the Rockies. Today's 4-hour excursion encompasses the area's outstanding features including the mystical Medicine Lake, and Maligne Canyon, with its narrow gorge and limestone walls falling 50 metres to the floor below. Also included today is a transfer and admission to Whistler's Tramway. This is the longest and highest aerial tramway in the Rockies. The ride up to the top of Whistlers Mountain is breathtaking. Your Tramway Guide will provide a fully narrated tour during the seven-minute ride to the top. Once at the upper terminal, you can enjoy a meal in the Treeline Restaurant or take part in a complimentary interpretive hike with Mountain Guide.

Day Five ~ Jasper to Lake Louise

This one way excursion to Lake Louise includes stops at Athabasca Falls, Columbia Icefield, Crowfoot Glacier, and Peyto Lake. Time will be allowed at the Columbia Icefield to take an Ice Explorer Ride onto the Athabasca Glacier and lunch. You will have several photo opportunities during the day before you are dropped off at your chosen hotel.

Day Six ~ Lake Louise to Banff

Start your journey today from your Lake Louise Hotel. Your first stop will be the unforgettable Moraine Lake and the Valley Of The Ten Peaks. Afterwards travel to Yoho National Park to see the Spiral Tunnels, Emerald Lake, Natural Bridge and Takakkaw Falls. You will return to Lake Louise in the late afternoon followed by a motorcoach transfer into the quaint town of Banff.

Day Seven ~ Exploring Banff

Your morning excursion guides you through the town of Banff and its attractions. You'll ascend Tunnel Mountain Drive to view the town of Banff and the Hoodoo viewpoint. Visit the scenic Bow Falls followed by an opportunity to ride the Banff to the top of Sulphur Mountain for unforgettable panoramic views. After your trip, Afternoon Tea awaits you at the Banff Springs Hotel - known by most as the "castle in the Rockies."

Day Eight ~ Banff to Calgary

Transfer today to downtown Calgary you will have the remainder of the day to explore the city. Make your way to the Calgary Tower to experience an unforgettable 360 degree view of the city and foothills.
