ITINERARY:

Day One ~ Arrival in Vancouver

Upon arrrival in Vancouver, transfer by taxi from the Vancouver International Airport to your downtown hotel. The remainder of the day is yours to explore at your own leisure. Overnight in Vancouver.

Day Two ~ Exploring Vancouver

Today’s Hop On/Hop Off Trolley Tour visits Stanley Park and stops at all of the major attractions in the downtown area and includes full commentary along the way. In the evening, take a Sunset Dinner Cruise through English Bay and into False Creek while dining on a full buffet dinner onboard. Overnight in Vancouver.

Day Three ~ Vancouver to Jasper on VIA Rail

Your entire day is free to see more of the city and have dinner on your own before transferring to the VIA Rail station for the overnight trip in a private bedroom to Jasper. Overnight onboard VIA Rail. Day Four ~ Arrive Jasper

Spend your day gazing at the Rocky Mountains enroute to Jasper. After having breakfast and lunch included in the dining car, you'll arrive into Jasper in the late afternoon and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Jasper.

Day Five ~ Exploring Jasper

The morning is yours to take a scheduled trip to Whistler's Mountain for a tram ride to the summit for a spectacular view of Jasper National Park before taking a gentle float trip down the Athabasca River in the afternoon. Overnight in Jasper.

Days Six & Seven ~ VIA Rail's 'Skeena' to Prince George and Prince Rupert

From waterways to railways ... board VIA Rail's 'Skeena' this afternoon to begin your discovery of northern British Columbia's forested landscape. Take advantage of the Skyline Car with its 360 degree views from the dome or the casual atmosphere of the lounge car below as the train gently weaves and winds its way to Prince George. Note: For departures starting in May and end of September, "Totem Class" onboard the Skeena is not available. Passengers will travel in "Economy" that does not offer included meals.The next morning, continue on your rail journey aboard the "Skeena." You may see bald eagles, black bears or moose from the windows of the train. Arrive into Prince Rupert on 2nd evening, and transfer by taxi to your hotel. Overnight in Prince Rupert.

Day Eight ~ Exploring Prince Rupert

A wilderness adventure awaits you today! Either a whale watching or grizzly bear viewing trip takes you outdoors to see some of the local wildlife up close (whale watching included up to July 30th only, then grizzly bears included). Overnight in Prince Rupert.

Day Nine ~ Cruise to Port Hardy

Your adventure northward begins with a morning transfer (included) to the B.C. Ferries terminal for your ferry ride through the Inside Passage to Port Hardy. The 15.5 hour cruise provides ample opportunity to see a wonderful array of snow-capped mountains and island vistas. Killer whales, sea lions and playful porpoise often appear alongside. Upon arrival, transfer on your own to your hotel. Overnight in Port Hardy.

Day Ten ~ Fly to Vancouver

Fly on a local airline in a small plane from Port Hardy to the Vancouver Airport's South Terminal. Departure times vary daily and then baggage allowance is 50 lbs/person. Transfer on a complimentary service to the River Rock Resort & Casino for a final night stay close to the airport. Overnight in Richmond (Vancouver).

Day Eleven ~ Depart Vancouver

Again, transfer on a complimentary service back to the Vancouver Airport to conclude your vacation.
