ITINERARY:
Day One ~ Arrival in Montreal
Arrive at Montreal's Dorval airport. Pick up your rental car (included) and transfer to your downtown hotel. Overnight in Montreal.
Day Two ~ Exploring Montreal
Spend the day exploring Montreal, the second largest French-speaking city in the world. This vibrant city is a unique combination of French charm and North American lifestyle. Explore trendy boutiques, relax in an outdoor cafe‚ in the old part and visit museums, parks and attractions. A mid-day boat cruise is included as part of your itinerary today. This evening, your dinner is included at Auberge Saint Gabriel Restaurant (3 courses plus 2 glasses of wine). Overnight in Montreal.
Day Three ~ Montreal to Quebec City
Drive along the St. Lawrence River to historic Quebec City, North America's only walled city. This evening you will be treated to a traditional Quebec Dinner at the historic Aux Anciens Canadiens restaurant. Overnight in Quebec City.
Days Four and Five ~ Exploring Quebec City
Experience the charm of "Old France," with its winding cobblestone streets, quaint boutiques and world-class restaurants. Outside of the old quarter walls you can visit the Citadel and the Plains of Abraham. Admission to the Quebec Experience film is included, providing an historic overview of the city. Dinner is included each evening: one is in Old Quebec at Le Poisson d'Avril Restaurant and then at Le Moulin de Saint-Laurent on Isle d'Orleans (3 courses plus 2 glasses of wine for each dinner). Overnight in Quebec City.
Day Six ~ Quebec City to the Charlevoix Region
Travel along the north shore of the St. Lawrence River into the romantic Charlevoix region. Take the day to enjoy the sites along the way - stop in picturesque Baie-Saint-Paul to enjoy the many art galleries or take a side trip to historic Ile aux Coudres. Your day will end in La Malbaie and the impressive Fairmont Manoir Richelieu, a chateau-style hotel overlooking the St. Lawrence River. Tonight is the most lavish dinner yet, at Le Charlevoix dining room. Overnight in La Malbaie.
Day Seven ~ Charlevoix Region to Montreal
In the morning, relax with a game of golf, a soothing treatment at the spa or take an exciting whale watching excursion (all activities are optional and are not included in your package price). Your day concludes with a drive back to Montreal. Overnight in Montreal.
Day Eight ~ Depart Montreal
Today your Quebec vacation draws to a close. Transfer on your own to Montreal's Dorval Airport for your flight home.
