ITINERARY:

Day One ~ Arrival in Montréal

Arrive at Montreal's Dorval Airport and transfer by airport shuttle to your downtown hotel. Spend the remainder of the day exploring or just relaxing in a neighbourhood bistro.

Day Two ~ Exploring Montréal

Experience the largest French-speaking city in North America. Enjoy a guided tour of the city, viewing Place Ville Marie, Mount Royal, St. Catherine Street and the Old Port. In the afternoon, explore the rich history of this dynamic city. Be sure to visit Vieux Montreal (Old Montreal), the Notre Dame Basilica and Olympic Stadium. Overnight in Montreal.

Day Three ~ VIA Rail to Quebec City

Enjoy the morning at leisure in Montreal. Early afternoon, transfer to the train station (on own) and depart on VIA Rail 1 Class for North America's only fortified city and UNESCO World Heritage Site: Quebec City. Upon arrival, transfer (on own) to your hotel located in the old section of the city. Experience the charm of "Old France" with its winding cobblestone streets, quaint boutiques and world-class cuisine. Overnight in Quebec City.

Day Four ~ Exploring Quebec City

Today you will be taken on a guided tour of this fascinating city, discovering the Citadel, Plains of Abraham and Old Quebec City. In the afternoon, you may wish to take an optional tour to the Montmorency Falls and Ile d'Orleans or to the Canyon des chutes Sainte Anne. Tonight, enjoy a traditional Quebecois dinner at the popular restaurant, Aux Anciens Canadiens. Overnight in Quebec City.

Day Five ~ Depart Quebec City

Your Quebec vacation draws to a close today. Transfer on your own to the airport or VIA Rail station.
