Each fall one of the world's most fascinating wildlife events occurs in Churchill, Manitoba. Scores of magnificent polar bears congregate along the shores of Hudson Bay waiting for the winter freeze so they can begin the annual seal hunt. From Churchill, you will view and photograph Polar Bears from the specially designed Tundra Buggy from which you will explore the tundra for two days. (Tundra Buggies are heated and equipped with washroom facilities.) Other highlights of this trip include a guided tour of the points of interest surrounding Churchill, a visit to the Eskimo Museum, and presentation at the Parks Canada facility that highlights the history and culture of the area. Day One ~ Arrive in Winnipeg
Your unique Canadian adventure starts when you transfer on your own to your Winnipeg hotel. Your evening is free to explore on your own. Overnight in Winnipeg.
Days Two to Four ~ Fly to Churchill & Explore
This morning you will fly to Churchill for two full days of Tundra Buggy touring including lunch and refreshments, admission to Eskimo Museum and slide presentation, dog sledding excursion, ground transfers in Churchill and a Professional guide. Overnight in Churchill.
Day Five ~ Fly to Winnipeg
Today you will bid goodbye to Churchill and the polar bears and fly back to Winnipeg for one more night stay. Overnight in Winnipeg.
Day Six ~ Depart Winnipeg
Your tour concludes with a morning check out at your hotel.
