ITINERARY:
Day One ~ Arrival in Vancouver
Arrive at the Vancouver International Airport and transfer by taxi to your hotel. Overnight in Vancouver.
Day Two ~ Vancouver Touring and Rail to Jasper
This morning enjoy a four-hour tour of Vancouver. Visit Stanley Park, Gastown, Chinatown, Robson Street, English Bay, Queen Elizabeth Park and Granville Island. Admission to the Lookout Tower is included. This evening transfer again by taxi to the train station. Here you will board VIA Rail's "Canadian" train. Overnight onboard VIA Rail in a private accommodation.
Day Three ~ Arrival in Jasper
By the time you awake, you will see glaciers, mountain peaks and lush forests. You will also travel past Mount Robson, the highest mountain in the Canadian Rockies. Late morning the train will arrive in Jasper National Park. Overnight in Jasper.
Day Four ~ Exploring Jasper
Enjoy the day relaxing in this beautiful mountain setting. This morning you will be wisked away to Whistler's Mountain for a ride up to the summit on the Skytram. The rest of the day is yours to explore Jasper on your own. Overnight in Jasper.
Day Five ~ Jasper to Banff
Enjoy a narrated tour from Jasper to Banff through the "Heart of the Canadian Rockies" along the famed Icefields Parkway. Waterfalls, tranquil mountain lakes, jagged peaks, hanging glaciers and forested valleys, highlight your route. Included today is a ride onboard a specially designed Brewster "Ice Explorer" which will take you onto the Athabasca Glacier. Complete your day of touring in Banff late this afternoon. Overnight in Banff
Day Six ~ Exploring Banff
The day is yours to explore this stunning mountain town. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a leisurely 60 minute cruise on Lake Minnewanka - Banff National Park's largest lake. The remainder of the day is your to do some shopping or simply relax in some of Canada's most beautiful scenery. Overnight in Banff.
Day Seven ~ Departing Banff
Transfer by scheduled motorcoach to the Calgary International Airport to complete your tour.
