ITINERARY:

Day One ~ Arrival in Halifax

After picking up your vehicle (not included), transfer to your downtown Halifax hotel. Spend the remainder of your day exploring this beautiful port city. Admission to the Pier 21 historic site is included. Overnight in Halifax.

Day Two ~ Halifax to Charlottetown

This morning, travel across the province to Pictou where you board a car ferry to Prince Edward Island. Take the afternoon to explore Charlottetown where visitors can enjoy music events, theatre productions, heritage activities and shopping. Overnight in Charlottetown.

Day Three ~ Exploring Prince Edward Island's National Parks

Spend the day exploring and marveling in Prince Edward Island's coastal regions, including Greenwich, Prince Edward Island National Park. Take a stroll or bike along the Confederation Trail or enjoy a round of golf at one of the many courses across the province (optional, price not included in package). Overnight in Charlottetown.

Day Four ~ Exploring Prince Edward Island

Take the day to visit Cavendish, home of Anne of Green Gables and the world class beaches in Prince Edward Island National Park. Visit Avonlea Village, a re-creation of a turn-of-the-century island village and explore some of the most breathtaking scenery on the Island and take a 2 hour seal watching tour (included). Before returning to Charlottetown for the night, enjoy a lobster supper at the famous New Glasgow Lobster Suppers. Overnight in Charlottetown.

Day Five ~ Charlottetown to Wolfville

Explore the tree-lined streets with their stately homes, visit Spinnaker's Landing on the waterfront and enjoy a mini concert of Scottish piping and dancing before departing Summerside. Mid-day, depart the Island via the Confederation Bridge, travel through New Brunswick and end back in Nova Scotia. Your destination today is Wolfville amongst the orchards of the Annapolis Valley. Overnight in Wolfville.

Day Six ~ Wolfville to Digby

A short drive along the Bay of Fundy brings you to Digby. Take the day to explore the Digby Arm. You may wish to take a cruise with Brier Island Whale & Seabird Cruises, a company renowned for its research and educational cruises in the Bay of Fundy. Located 90 minutes from Digby, this trip out to Brier Island offers a unique experience. Overnight in Digby.

Day Seven ~ Digby to Halifax

Travel back to Halifax today. Enroute, visit Lunenburg and Peggy's Cove. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Lunenburg dates back to the 1700's and has a colourful seafaring history. Peggy's Cove is most famous for its graceful lighthouse and charming village. Overnight in Halifax.

Day Eight ~ Tour Completes in Halifax

Your maritime experience draws to a close today with a check out from your hotel.
