ITINERARY:

Day One ~ Arrival in Vancouver

Transfer by taxi to your Vancouver hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Vancouver.

Day Two and Three ~ 'Rocky Mountaineer' to Kamloops and Banff

Your day begins with an early morning taxi transfer (included) to Vancouver's Pacific Central Station to board Rocky Mountaineer daylight train. Travel though the Pacific Coastal Mountains, Hell's Gate and onto Kamloops for the evening. (Breakfast and lunch onboard). Transfer (included) to your hotel in Kamloops for dinner (included) and an overnight stay. The next morning, transfer (included) back to the Kamloops train station where you will reboard Rocky Mountaineer and continue on your journey to the Canadian Rockies (breakfast and lunch onboard). Travel through the South Thompson River area, Kicking Horse Pass and Spiral Tunnels before arriving into Banff. Transfer (included) to your hotel upon arrival. Overnight in Banff

Day Four ~ Exploring Banff

The day is yours to explore one of Canada's most famous mountain towns. An afternoon cruise on Lake Minnewanka and a horse & carriage ride through town gives you two different perspectives of Banff today. Overnight in Banff

Day Five ~ Banff to Jasper Sightseeing

Journey northwards into Jasper National Park along the remarkable Icefields Parkway. Abundant scenic masterpieces unfold around every corner, making this highway of towering peaks, sparkling glaciers and waterfalls among the most impressive drives in the world. Enjoy a stop at the Columbia Icefields Centre (seasonal*) for an interpretive Ice Explorer ride onto the Athabasca Glacier. Your overnight this evening is in the charming town of Jasper.

Day Six ~ Exploring Jasper

Jasper, fascinating in beauty and history, is set amid some of the most rugged peaks in the Rockies. Today's 4-hour excursion encompasses the area's outstanding features including the mystical Medicine Lake, and Maligne Canyon, with its narrow gorge and limestone walls falling 50 metres to the floor below. Overnight in Jasper.

Day Seven to Nine ~ Jasper to Toronto (VIA Rail)

After a morning at leisure, transfer on a scheduled service to Jasper's VIA Rail Station to board the "Canadian" eastward. Enjoy three nights on board VIA Rail with private sleeping accommodation. Overnight onboard VIA Rail.

Day Ten ~ Arrival in Toronto (VIA Rail)

Your train will arrive in Toronto at approximately 9:30 am. Pick up your luggage and transfer to your hotel (on own). The rest of the day is at your leisure to explore Canada's largest city. Overnight in Toronto.

Day Eleven ~ Tour Concludes in Toronto

Transfer by scheduled transfer to the Toronto Pearson International Airport to complete your Canadian vacation.
