ITINERARY:
Day One ~ Arrival in Victoria
Pick up your rental car (not included) at the Victoria International Airport or downtown Victoria and drive to your hotel. Enjoy an afternoon at leisure to explore the Inner Harbour on your own. Overnight in Victoria.
Day Two ~ Victoria Exploring
A 3 hour whale watching cruise take you on a round trip in search of killer whales, porpoises, harbour seals, and other marine wildlife. The boat will slow or stop allowing passengers to observe wildlife, take photographs, and ask questions. Don't forget to bring your camera or binoculars! Overnight in Victoria.
Day Three ~ Victoria Exploring
Today is yours to explore the downtown and surrounding areas of Victoria. Stop at the Royal British Columbia Museum to examine the human and natural history of the area and then take a short drive to Hately Park for a garden tour. Overnight in Victoria.
Day Four ~ Victoria to Tofino
Today you will travel north along the scenic Island Highway to the resort town of Parksville with a stop along the way at Butchart Gardens. Continue westward to the pristine Pacific Rim National Park and Tofino. Take a stroll along spectacular Long Beach or along one of the numerous trails through centuries old rainforests. Overnight in Tofino.
Day Five ~ Tofino Exploring
An adventure awaits you today as you explore the coastal waters by Zodiac or hard-hull boat in search of gray whales and other fascinating marine life. Overnight in Tofino.
Day Six ~ Tofino Exploring
Today is free for you to wander the beaches, explore the rainforests or take an optional tour to a hot springs or bear watching on your own. Overnight in Tofino.
Day Seven ~ Tofino to Parksville
Depart Tofino today at your leisure for a short drive to Parksville. Enroute, stop at the quaint village of Ucluelet and take one more stroll on one of the public beaches in the park. Overnight in Parksville.
Day Eight ~ Parksville to Victoria
Return south along the Island Highway to the port city of Nanaimo and then back to Victoria to return your vehicle and conclude your vacation.
