ITINERARY:
Day 1 ~ Arrive in Vancouver
Upon arrival into Vancouver, transfer on your own to your downtown hotel. The remainder of your day is free. Overnight in Vancouver.
Day 2 ~ Explore Vancouver & VIA Rail to Jasper
A free day in Vancouver allows you time to see Stanley Park, Granville Island, Gastown, Chinatown or visit some of the many museums and attractions in the downtown area. Late this afternoon, transfer by taxi to VIA Rail's Pacific Central Station and board the train for an overnight stay including dinner and breakfast. Private sleeping accommodation onboard VIA Rail.
Day 3 ~ Arrive into Jasper
You will travel through the Monashee and Caribou mountain ranges before ending your train journey in the resort town of Jasper. You will be transferred to your hotel by coach or taxi upon arrival in Jasper. Overnight in Jasper.
DAY 4 ~ Exploring Jasper
Enjoy a unique Wildlife Discovery tour of Jasper today. Explore some of Jasper’s lesser known gems as you travel off the beaten path in search of Bear, Moose, Elk, Sheep, Goats and Wolves. This is a chance to enjoy spectacular scenery and learn about Jasper’s original inhabitants in a small-group environment. Overnight in Jasper.
DAY 5 ~ Jasper to Banff
Depart Jasper this morning and travel along the Icefields Parkway, one of the most scenic highways in the Canadian Rockies, to arrive into Banff around noon. The rest of you day is yours to play outside or cozy up to a roaring fireplace. Overnight in Banff.
DAY 6 ~ Exploring Banff
A morning tour of Banff shows off some of the highlights of this national park. In the afternoon, take a more leisurely tour on a horse-drawn sleigh ride. Overnight in Banff.
DAY 7 ~ Transfer to Calgary
A private sedan transfer takes you from the town of Banff to the Calgary Airport or downtown Calgary to conclude your tour.
